Fall Break
LCHS' Personal Finance/Career Exploration classes participated in the💲On My Own-Real Live Simulation💲 On My Own is a fun & engaging financial education where students imagine that they are adults with the responsibility of being the major income provider. Using a hypothetical occupation and income, participants work through a month of household purchases including housing, utilities, transportation, insurance, food, childcare, clothing, entertainment, and unexpected expenses. They may also receive a chance card that represents unexpected expenses and incomes encountered in real life. Participants complete their experiences by evaluating their choices and considering alternatives. Thank you to the Bank of Lincoln County for sponsoring the event.
