I have over 20 years experience working with students and adults with exceptional abilities. Beginning in 1994, I owned and operated an in-home child care center which worked collaboratively with the local Child Development Center. I have also worked as a sign language interpreter and special education assistant for the 3-5 year old pre-school with Fayetteville City Schools. Upon receiving my Bachelors degree from MTSU in December of 2007, I began working for Lincoln County schools in January of 2008. From 2008 to 2011, I worked in the Alternative school program and Behavior Modification Classroom serving students with and without exceptional abilities. From 2011 to 2015, I worked at Flintville Elementary school with the K-8 Self-contained CDC classroom. I have been teaching functional Math and Work Based Learning- Transition at LCHS with exceptional students since 2015.
