In the Spotlight - Tim Johnson named 4th LCHS Football Head Coach

 Tim Johnson has been named the fourth head football coach at Lincoln County High School.  Johnson was a 1983 graduate of Lincoln County High School.  He was the captain of the 1982 state championship at LCHS, MVP of state championship game, All-state his senior year and the Lawrenceburg Quarterback Club Mid-state MVP.  
 
Johnson received a scholarship from Vanderbilt University and was a four year letterman playing safety and special teams.  He graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1988 with a degree in Secondary Education.  He received his M.Ed in Educational Administration from Lincoln Memorial University in 1998.  
 
Coach Johnson served as a school administrator in Tennessee and Arkansas for eight years.  He served as an assistant coach at Overton High School, Giles County High School, Franklin High School, Karns High School and
Alcoa High School.  Johnson served as the the head coach at Franklin High, Giles County High School and Battle Ground Academy.  In 2004, he led Franklin High to the state championship game finishing runner up in the state.  
 
He is married to Julia and they have one daughter, Lauren; a son, Nicholas, and one granddaughter, Jayden.
